These training videos are a quick and easy way to learn the basic functions of RESUMate. Each video contains step-by-step and click-by-click tutorials for a specific topic. Please use the videos at your own pace. Some of them have internal branches to cover different specific tasks, so you can explore a single topic and then come back and learn another topic at a later time.

Creating & Searching Database Records
Automated Data Entry – This video will show you how to create a single RESUMate database record from a resume.
Import Express – This video will show you how to create multiple database records from Word .doc files or e-mail messages using RESUMate’s optional Import Express tool.
Searching – This video will show you how to use RESUMate’s easy and comprehensive search function. Feel free to view it multiple times to learn different search methods.
Customizing Your Database
Database Settings – This video will show you two important ways to customize RESUMate: 1) re-naming RESUMate’s various text fields and date fields and 2) creating customized text templates for such things as interview questions.
Valid Table Editor – This video will show you how to customize RESUMate by editing the Valid Table, RESUMate’s list of user-defined keywords and phrases. You can also import keywords from pre-customized industry specific tables that we provide.

Linking Candidates and Jobs – This video will show you how to track candidates through the hiring process by linking candidate records to job records, allowing you to keep clean and well organized records about interviews, offers, acceptances, start dates, and any other information that is important to your hiring process. There are also instructions for linking placed candidates to their new employers.
Creating Client, Contact & Job Records – This video will show you how to create and use other types of records in RESUMate. These records allow you to track a candidate’s progress though the interview and hiring process as well as provide a well organized view of all job openings, active and closed.
