RESUMate is an easy program to learn and to use, but any software can seem daunting when you're first getting started. We've tried to make it as easy as possible to understand RESUMate by breaking the program down into a few simple concepts. All of this information is publicly available; you DO NOT need to be a licensed RESUMate customer to see it.

Getting Started

If you're new to RESUMate this is the place to start. Illustrated step-by-step instructions take you through the basics. You can view interactive tutorial videos or print out PDF guides; either method takes about 10 minutes.

In-Depth Tutorials

These training videos will show you how to search and customize your database in detail. If you are already familiar with the basics of creating records and running simple searches, these videos can help you get a better understanding of the finer points of RESUMate.

Free Online Seminars

Each month we offer 13 FREE online seminars designed to cover all of the features and functions of the RESUMate program. Each session beings at noon, Eastern Time USA, and lasts 30 minutes. An optional Q&A session follows the 30 minute presentation.

All sessions are FREE, and any RESUMate user can benefit from these classes. You do not need to have the current version of RESUMate (version 12.33) to participate.

If you'd like to attend one or more sessions, please send an e-mail to info@resumate.com with the appropriate dates. We'll send you a confirmation e-mail. On the day before each session you have selected, you'll receive an e-mail for that session only, with a link and conference call number for that specific date and time.

Quick Reference

Push F1 from any screen in RESUMate to access our comprehensive Help Guide. If you're on the search screen, pressing F1 will give you illustrated search help; if you're on the Options screen, pressing F1 will give you illustrated help for the Options screen; it works on every screen in RESUMate and is often the quickest way to answer a simple question.
