Defects Corrected:
- Fix error in QuickSearch for Job Orders.
- Allow memo keyword searching for words which include accented characters.
Defects Corrected:
- Correctly filter-out images from imported Word documents.
- Improved memo keyword highlighting in certain circumstances.
- QuickSearch now correctly finds records that have leading spaces in their names.
Enhancements:
- Improved drag-and-drop functionality in memos (resumes and notes).
- When selecting Outlook messages, you now have the ability to choose whether to process them as HTML or Rich Text messages. In some cases, HTML works better, in others, Rich Text is the preferred format. For example, when importing records from CareerBuilder.com emails, selecting Rich Text will result in messages that are much more readable than HTML format. Also, resumes containing Unicode characters (typically, accented characters) are more accurately read in Rich Text format, than in HTML format.
Defects Corrected:
- Ability to scan for keywords at the beginning or end of a line in certain Word documents. Previously, some keywords at either end of a line might not be properly scanned. This is corrected in Version 11.7.
- Ability to scan for keywords at the end of very large memos. Previously, keywords beyond the 32,768-byte mark in a memo were not being found. Version 11.7 corrects this.
- For password-protected databases, choosing 'File/Save As...' no longer generates an error.
- Resumes with the word 'References' in the header or footer of a Word document are now being read properly. Previously, scanning these types of resumes would sometimes result in an error.
Defects Corrected:
- Improved handling of HTML-formatted resumes, such as Monster and HotJobs.
- Fixed jumping cursor problem when in full Memo window and text is highlighted, and then the right-click popup menu is used to copy it to the clipboard.
Enhancements
- New Web Links feature. Allows opening web sites with customized URL's based on contents from the current record. For example, Google Maps with the current candidate's address, LinkedIn with the current candidate's name, or Hoovers with the current Company name.
- Enhanced scanning of imported records in HTML format.
- Enhancement to Import Express to ignore individual records that fail to import, and continue with the remainder of the selected source records.
