Getting Started

Getting Started The three training videos on this page are a quick and easy way to learn the basic functions of RESUMate. They use the same starting file that comes with the program and are designed to take you, step-by-step, through your first experience with RESUMate. If you are new to RESUMate, we strongly recommend viewing these videos in the sequence shown and then trying the same things on your own. Viewing all three takes about ten minutes.

Creating Records

Convert your resumes or CVs from Word .doc, Adobe .pdf, e-mail or other text format into RESUMate records.

Customizing

Re-name the Date and Text Fields to suit your preferences and modify the index of keywords to check for terms and phrases that are important to you.

Searching

Use the resumes you’ve entered and the keywords you’ve added to find candidates.
