If all you need to do is build and search a database of applicants, RESUMate Lite, our applicant tracking software, is probably the right version for you. If you need to track candidates through the hiring process, you should consider RESUMate Pro, our recruiting software version.
There is only one RESUMate software demo. When you start the software, it will ask if you want to use the Lite version or the Pro version. If you want to switch from Lite to Pro or vice versa, all you need to do is close and restart RESUMate and select the other version.
Import Express, our optional bulk record creation tool, works with both RESUMate Lite and RESUMate Pro to easily add candidates to your RESUMate database. Import Express allows you to automatically create database records from any number of resumes.

Upgrading your software from RESUMate Lite to RESUMate Pro is a snap; there is no data conversion to be done. We'll simply send you a new registration code and your Lite version will become the Pro version. You can upgrade from Lite to Pro at any time. When you purchase the Pro version you'll receive dollar for dollar credit for your earlier purchase of the Lite version.
RESUMate Lite is basic applicant tracking software, RESUMate Professional adds these important features:
- Client records include basic tracking information about an organization (name, address, etc.), plus individual contact records for each applicant you deal with.
- Job records completely describe all open positions, and are automatically linked back to the associated applicant (or department).
- Job order activity records follow the progress of an applicant through the recruitment process, recording important dates, such as the date the resume was forwarded to the hiring manager, interview dates, offer and acceptance dates, and start date.
No other software has a more efficient system of using a relational database for storing and tracking this much applicant information.
An important by-product of using the RESUMate Pro version is that very valuable historical information is being tracked as you go.
Put an applicant record on your screen, and at the bottom of the screen (without clicking) you’ll see a list of all jobs for which that candidate’s credentials have been submitted.
Put a job order on your screen, and right at the bottom of the screen (without clicking) you'll see a list of all applicants who have ever been considered for this position.
